We are seeking Nursery Workers on a rolling basis to help with the running of our Bonny Downs Nursery!
Role: Nursery Workers
Hours: Full time, part time and job-shares available
Pay: £11.069 per hour
Contract: Permanent
Location: Bonny Downs Nursery, 49 Vicarage Lane, London E6 6DQ
The Nursery runs Mondays to Fridays from 8 am to 6 pm for 51 weeks of the year and provides full-time care and early learning for children from birth to school age. The role involves working as part of a team to provide a safe, structured, and stimulating setting to enable children to thrive personally, socially, physically and educationally.
We have part time and full time roles available. Our ideal candidates will have
- a minimum NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualification and
- experience of working within a Nursery or childcare setting
You will have a passion for working with young children from diverse backgrounds and a commitment to the provision of high-quality childcare. You will have the ability to develop and maintain highly professional positive working relationships with children, colleagues, parents/carers and other agencies and professionals associated with the Nursery.
You will have an excellent understanding of the EYFS curriculum and requirements & knowledge and understanding of the statutory requirements of legislation and Nursery Policies & procedure i.e. Health & Safety, Safeguarding, Equal Opportunities, SEN etc.
You will need to be willing to work outside normal hours to fulfil the role or to provide cover from time to time, including requests from the nursery to work long days (9 hours).
