
We’re Hiring! Fundraising Assistant
We have secured short term funding to recruit someone to assist with grant applications, local giving campaigns and other income generation projects to help BDCA through this difficult financial climate, that is causing stress for all charities.
Role: Fundraising Assistant
Hours: 14 hours per week, flexible working times during office hours Monday – Friday
Pay: £11.950 – £13.773 per hour depending on experience
Contract: Temporary fixed term contract (ideally starting in September 2023) until end of current financial year 31.03.2024, with possibility of extension if funding allows
Location: The Well Community Centre, 49 Vicarage Lane, London E6 6DQ
BDCA has been working together to change lives and transform our community since 1998. Over the past 25 years, our team has grown to provide a wide array of services that benefit Newham residents from all walks of life.
We now need to recruit an additional team member to add fundraising capacity so we can protect our existing projects and innovate new services too. The new role will assist our team to create grant applications to Trusts and Foundations, lead crowdfunding campaigns, develop our local donor scheme, strengthen corporate partnerships, increase sponsored events and help develop and support income generation ideas
