Could you be a Trustee of Bonny Downs Community Association?

BDCA is a dynamic, community-led charity based in East Ham South that brings local people together to ‘change lives and transform our community’. Established by local residents in 1998, BDCA currently employs 49 part time staff and has a turnover of £1.2 million. Our values are Inclusion, Empowerment and Celebration.

The trustees play a key role in making sure the charity achieves its strategic objectives and operates legally and effectively. At the moment we have a board of seven trustees and following a Governance Review earlier this year, we are looking to recruit at least two more.

CommuniTEA Cafe Volunteer

Do you enjoy meeting people and brightening their day?

We are looking for volunteers to help us run our CommuniTEA Cafe, where local residents can drop in from 9 am to 5 pm on weekdays to enjoy FREE tea, optional books and board games and a friendly chat.
