Top reasons to choose Bonny Downs Nursery!
With our new nursery opening its doors in January 2022, we’ve pulled together some of the top reasons why we think you should consider us for your childcare…
1 Caring childcare professionals
You can go about your busy week with confidence, knowing that your child is being well looked after by our highly-qualified and experienced team who really care!
At Bonny Downs, we’ve been running regular parent and toddler groups since 2008, and our After School Club has been running since 2012 and is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.
2 Flexible scheduling to suit you
We’re open from 8am to 6pm five days a week, and you can choose whether you want your child to attend part-time or full-time.
The longer opening hours and flexible approach means you can schedule your childcare to meet your busy family’s needs!
3 Priority access to BDCA’s full suite of family services
When your family joins our nursery, we’ll give you access to all of our charity’s family services.
This includes our After School Club, Holiday Club and Youth Project for primary school children and teenagers; a wide range of fitness and wellbeing classes for parents and carers; plus our support programmes for low-income households such as our food bank and family hub, where eligible.
4 Use your government childcare allowances with us
Are you eligible for government-provided Free Childcare, Tax-Free Childcare, Tax Credits or Universal Credit for childcare? If so, you should be able to use your allowances with us to pay towards your fees!
For more information on what support may be available for you and your family, please visit this government website.
5 Competitive pricing with all-inclusive fees
We want to help you make your money go further for you and your family. So with us, you don’t need to worry about unexpected costs because our fees are competitively priced – and they include all activities and meals!
6 Balanced and engaging programmes
Our curriculum is carefully designed to ensure your child will have lots of fun while learning. It follows the government’s Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) standards and we’ve designed it to help us celebrate the wonderful diversity of our Newham community too!
7 An ethical community approach
Did you know that we invest the income we receive from your fees back into running services for the community? This means that by joining our nursery you’ll be supporting your neighbours in need too!
8 Partnership with parents
We really welcome your input and partnership! We offer a range of opportunities to get involved in shaping our programmes, and opportunities to share learning at home too.
