It is with much sadness that we bid farewell to Rodney, a much-loved member of the Bonny Downs Family and pillar of our community. For an incredible 26 years Rodney dedicated himself to loving and serving our community. He was instrumental in BDCA’s growth and development and he faithfully served as a volunteer within Bonny Downs Community Association for many years both as a Trustee and helping with our accounting and banking.

Beyond his community involvement, Rodney was a passionate sportsman who enjoyed playing walking football and cricket well into his later years on our very own Flanders Playing Field helping to bring joy and camaraderie to our community.

Rodney was passionate about making sure everyone whom he came across felt valued and welcomed and his positive spirit left an indelible mark on all who knew him. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him but his legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of those who were blessed enough to have him in their lives.
