Do you enjoy meeting people and brightening their day?

We are looking for volunteers to help us run our CommuniTEA Cafe, where local residents can drop in from 9 am to 5 pm on weekdays to enjoy free tea, optional books and board games and a friendly chat with our volunteers.

How many hours per week? At least 2 hours per week, dependant on your availability
When? Thursdays 3 – 5 pm
Where? The Well Community Centre, 49 Vicarage Lane, E6 6DQ

Our community centre is a thriving space that holds many activities for our community across the week. We need people to be willing to serve fresh teas and coffees to those that visit and to keep our kitchen spick and span!

What you’ll need to provide: A friendly and welcoming manner. Someone happy to make teas and coffees and wash up/load the dishwasher. Replenishing the tea and coffee containers and general cleaning and tidying of the space.
What we’ll provide: A full induction and training, reimbursed travel costs, and of course lots of free tea and coffee!
