Bonny Downs Community Association has launched a new Pensioners’ Benefit Advice Service to help older residents in Newham check and claim the support they deserve.

Many pensioners are missing out on vital benefits such as Pension Credit, Attendance Allowance and Council Tax reductions. These payments that can make a big difference to everyday living costs.

Our friendly advocates offer free, confidential appointments to help people understand their entitlements, fill in forms, and access other local support.

“We know that many older residents are struggling with rising costs,” says Sulthana Begum, Co-Director at BDCA. “We want every pensioner in our community to get the financial help that they are entitled to.”

Appointments are available now at The Well Community Centre in East Ham. Pensioners can meet Paris at our Over-65s Coffee Mornings on Tuesdays between 10 am and 12 pm, call 07522 553 877 or email 65advice@bonnydowns.org for appointments.
