Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we’ve raised £14,682 for our our Debt Advice Centre! Every donation, share, and message of support has brought us to this amazing milestone, and we are so grateful.

You have all shown our community that nobody has to face debt alone. By getting behind our campaign, you’ve not only raised vital funds but also lifted the spirits of our team and the many people we support. Our Debt Service is the only one left in East London offering face to face advice. All other services are online, thus difficult to access for many people facing barriers such as language, digital skills and more. Our service is very small, run by one part-time Advisor, Maria, supported by one trained volunteer. Maria was blown away by your support of our service and has written a personal thank you below:

Dear Friends,

I’m writing this with a heart full of gratitude.

Thanks to your generous donations, not only have we been able to keep the Bonny Downs Debt Centre open, but I’ve also been able to keep doing the job I love: helping people in our community find hope and freedom from debt.

Your support didn’t just save a service. It saved my job. And with it, the chance to continue helping families find hope, stability, and a way forward when things feel overwhelming.
