Fresh paint for community impact
The newly refreshed fencing at The Well Community Centre is more than just a fresh coat of paint. It’s a reminder of what can happen when local organisations, businesses and individuals come together for a common purpose.
A huge thank you to Hill Group UK, Southgrove Group, and especially Rob Chipcase, who generously volunteered his time, skills and materials to transform the fencing around our community hub in East Ham.
The improvement has made our centre brighter, more welcoming and more inviting for the thousands of local people who use our services each year.
This partnership began after meeting the Hill tea at Excel London‘s East London Meet the Buyer event. That opportunity was only possible because Aaron Uthman from London City Airport kindly arranged a complimentary exhibition stand for Bonny Downs at the Summit, helping us connect with businesses committed to creating social value.
One introduction led to another, and that connection has now delivered a lasting benefit for our community.
Thank you to everyone involved for demonstrating the power of partnership, generosity and local action. Together, we’re changing lives and transforming our community.
