Events
We are pleased to be launching a new session of Choir for over-65s, particularly welcoming people living with dementia and their carers. Research shows that music has a positive impact on those living with dementia.
The session will run from 12 – 1 pm at The Well Community Centre on alternate Tuesdays, starting from 10th June 2025. The sessions are free, and you can just turn up.

Do you enjoy writing poems or short stories? Or want to try writing for the first time?
Join us for a fun and informal monthly writing workshop. Open to all, no matter your age or experience. Led by local published author Luan Goldie, the workshop will give you prompts and encouraging exercises.

We are looking for volunteers to help us run our CommuniTEA Cafe, where local residents can drop in from 9 am to 5 pm on weekdays to enjoy free tea, optional books and board games and a friendly chat with our volunteers.
