Bonny Downs Community Association has launched a new Pensioners’ Benefit Advice Service to help older residents in Newham check and claim the support they deserve.
Many pensioners are missing out on vital benefits such as Pension Credit, Attendance Allowance and Council Tax reductions. These payments that can make a big difference to everyday living costs.

We are looking for volunteers to help us run our CommuniTEA Cafe, where local residents can drop in from 9 am to 5 pm on weekdays to enjoy free tea, optional books and board games and a friendly chat with our volunteers.

We’re looking for kind, caring and consistent volunteers to make joyful experiences for our older members. You will be helping us set up and pack down sessions, and providing a warm welcome to all our participants.
