Our Foodbank will be CLOSED NEXT WEEK on Wednesday 13th August due to emergency staff shortage. Our Food Club on Tuesday 12th August will still be open. The Foodbank will re-open Wednesday 20th August 11 am – 1 pm.

BDCA is delighted to be awarded funding from East End Community Foundation (EECF), which will support two of our vital community initiatives in East Ham, London. The first project will provide weekly workshops for young people and the second will support local pensioners with benefits advice, both starting from September 2025.

What was once a derelict patch of land scarred by a devastating fire in 2013 has been reborn as a thriving green space for East Ham’s families. Thanks to a generous £3,000 grant from the London City Airport Community Fund, the Grow Together Be Together Community Garden is now poised to grow even further, providing new opportunities for local children and families.
